Wild Grove is an organic soap brand focused on promoting self-care, natural ingredients, and mindful living. Handcrafted in small batches using sustainable methods, the brand aims to offer more than just soap—it’s about creating a calming, sensory experience rooted in nature.
As the business continued to grow, the team sought a refreshed identity that could better reflect their values and stand out in an increasingly crowded wellness market.
At the start of the design process, we worked closely with the client to identify a set of 'brand nouns'—visual themes that could be distilled into simple, recognisable icons. This approach helped provide creative direction, especially as the client was unsure of what they wanted visually. The words explored included meditation, shell, flower, leaves, and hand—each connecting to the brand’s ethos of nature, care, and calm.
After a range of experiments, we arrived at a design that combines the form of a person meditating with the spiral shape of a shell. This visual pairing evokes both inner peace and natural beauty. Soft lines were used intentionally to create a sense of friendliness and approachability—important qualities for a brand that champions wellbeing without pretence.
The final design is strong yet gentle—bold enough to stand alone, while maintaining the calming tone that reflects the brand’s purpose. Its simplicity allows it to scale effectively across multiple applications, from packaging and signage to digital platforms and print.
Whether embossed on a bar of soap, printed on kraft labels, or featured in social media, the identity retains its clarity and message at every touchpoint.
